Давайте вместе скажем спасибо ребятам из Adobe.
Снять одну галочку - не всегда самое простое. Эта галочка находится в браузере, а он не один - есть как минимум Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera, Maxthon, Safari, ...
Добавить поддержку для веб-галочек планируется, но я не могу точно сказать, когда эта функциональность будет доступна.

На эту тему есть пост, поэтому я закрываю этот как дубликат.

Adobe Shockwave Player german

When installing Adobe Shockwave Player german (http://get.adobe.com/de/shockwave/?promoid=KLXMH) on a german windows, the checkbox for Google Chrome is still checked and the checkbox to make it to my Standard Browser is also checked.

Currently, Unchecky is not able to handle checkboxes which appear on websites.

picpick screen capture program

The screen capture program PicPick uses a particularly nasty way of installing extra-ware on the fly. During installation in throws up two additional windows on to of each other that cannot be closed. I always use Alt-F4 to close them. 
It would be nice if PicPick's way of including extra-ware is also caught by Unchecky

I tried to install PicPick, and didn't get any offers. If still relevant, could you please provide a screenshot of the offers?

Unchecky does not work with "CHIP-Installer"...

VLC Media Player bundled with the CHIP-Installer can be downloaded here:

It seems that the CHIP-Installer has been removed from many downloads, but at some downloads you have still the option to download the software bundled with CHIP-Installer.
So, I do not know if it's worth that you are adding support for the CHIP-Installer.

McAfee-Install via Adobe-Reader-Update

Is it possible to prevent McAfee from installing, via Adobe-Reader-Update ?


One gaming-mate came up with it:

dont create desktop icon

this would be handy for me - i try to keep the desktop clear, if unchecky could uncheck "create desktop shortcut" in an installers config that would be awesome!

Thank you for the feedback.

For simplicity, we decided not to provide this option. You can simply remove the icon, and it won't be created again, even after updating Unchecky.

Note that if you are using a silent installation, there's a command line option for not creating the icon. Refer to the FAQ on the website for more details.

Support needed for installers built with Inno Setup

This screenshot comes from the installer (CDisplayExWin64.exe) for the 64-bit version of CDisplay Ex, a popular viewer for computer comic-book archives.

Of note:
  • The installer is built with Inno Setup and is a 32-bit process.
  • This example installs Search Protect by Conduit, which ostensibly "saves your preferred browser's homepage and default search settings so that they can't be changed by software you download from the Internet" - but changes them itself upon installation (my homepage became Bing).
  • Only one EULA screen is shown in this installer, and at first glance appears to be the EULA for the CDisplay software itself. Clicking Decline proceeds with CDisplay installation without installing Search Protect.
  • The latest version of Unchecky did not display any warning when the Accept button shown in the screenshot was clicked.
