It is now supported under v0.2.15.

Here's the evidence for the developer. Unchecky did uncheck the 2 "set and keep" boxes but not the main one. This is actually Win7 with a 3rd party skin that makes it look like XP MCE.

the search is still enabled. even with java installer 7.65.
