Plan to sign the installer of Unchecky
Hello, is there any plan in signing the installer? A signed program is much better in maintaning in rule based security like Applocker or SRP.

Hi,
I can't say, as I'm not familiar with the singing procedure. I'll have to find out what it takes to sign a program.
Any information about it is welcome.

Thank you for the valuable information.
And thanks for StartIsBack!
I've recently started using it after several months of trying Metro UI.

So the answer is no, I guess? Well it is understandable because it is a free software after all.

Since v0.2.1, the Unchecky executables are digitally signed.
In addition to the advantages listed above, it also makes automatic updates more secure, as Unchecky will only launch the downloaded executable if it's properly signed. That means that even if the server gets hacked, or the file gets modified for some reason, there's no risk of Unchecky running untrusted code.
Special thanks goes to Start Is Back for the valuable tip.
