I explained that the warning while clicking Next is an intended behavior.
There are installers which install adware when you click Next/Agree even if you uncheck all checkboxes. Here's an example:


So if Unchecky sees a "Decline" or "Skip" button, it shows a warning.

My answer there is mostly on Russian, but there's a short explanation in English.
The thing is there's no way to reliably determine that a button is a "decline" button. Installers can change. There may be errors in the logic of Unchecky.

The situation now is that if Unchecky makes a mistake, it either warns you on a valid item, or doesn't warn you on an unwanted offer. Not nice, but you can see that something is wrong. Now imagine if Unchecky makes a mistake and quietly installs a bundled program. We don't want that to happen. Thus, I decided against automatic button clicking.

Since v0.2.1, the Unchecky executables are digitally signed.
In addition to the advantages listed above, it also makes automatic updates more secure, as Unchecky will only launch the downloaded executable if it's properly signed. That means that even if the server gets hacked, or the file gets modified for some reason, there's no risk of Unchecky running untrusted code.
