Disk Defrag, Registry defrag, Registry Cleaner, all of these install by default a trial version of BoostSpeed and the installation of an browser bar...

Изменяет hosts - фаил...после этого утелита Dr.Web Curelt! видит его как вирус, а SpyHunter при каждом сканировании говорит что hosts - фаил был изменён. Удалил программу и всё прошло, как это исправить?

Самое правильное решение в этой ситуации - занести программу Unchecky в белый список вышеперечисленных утилит. Если это не возможно, Unchecky позволяет отключить модификацию файла hosts в расширенных настройках, но это не идеальный вариант, так как некоторые установщики блокируются именно этим способом.

Unchecky takes a long time to installor update when behind a proxy

In a corporate environment behind a proxy, unchecky takes 5-10min ot install, whereas at home it's pretty smooth and quick ! Maybe it's checking for an internet connection and because it doesn't use the systems proxy configuration (set by IE) it waits a long time and then finally finishes to install.. Either unchecky could use the systems proxy configuration or have a much smaller timer. Could also be in the command line parameters "no_internet_check" ;)

Unchecky uses WinHTTP for accessing the internet, and therefore IE proxy configuration doesn't apply to it. Please check whether the WinHTTP proxy settings are configured correctly. See here for information about configuring the WinHTTP proxy settings.

не ставится, замирает, без инета

Не ставится (висит два процесса):Соединение включено, инет убиранием шлюза не доступен. win7 максимальная.
Вернул инет - установка тогда завершилась.
Исправьте установку в оффлайне.

ЗЫ спасибо за программу. Ставлю ее в тандеме с AppLocker для prof/max винды, т.к. недостаточно галочки убирать - чаще саму "скрытую" установку надо блокировать.

You probably mean the uninstallation feedback page. This page is sometimes shown, and it help us understand what users find wrong with Unchecky, so that we can fix it.

Ключ тихой установки, отключающий показ программы в трее

Доброго времени суток.
Очень нужен ключ тихой установки, отключающий показ программы в трее.
И кстате такой вопрос. Ставил на большое колличество машин удалённо версию 2. Потом она обновилась до 3-ей версии и появился значок в трее. Есть ли возможность убрать программу из трея удалённо?

На данный момент, такой ключ не планируется.

Насчет второго вопроса: нету. Разве что внести настройку вручную в реестр.

Unchecky does not remove the check mark for Yahoo sign-in. Why is that? It use to. I am on Hp desk top, Win7-64, chrome most recent.

Hi Barbara,

A checkbox like this is not a goal of Unchecky.
Unchecky is designed to remove checkmarks from checkboxes that offer to install sponsored or unrelated programs, or to change the homepage or the search engine. The "Keep me signed in" checkbox doesn't fit into that category.

If you often need to sign into your email account without Yahoo remembering the credentials, you might want to use incognito mode.
