CCleaner installs Avast
In the newest update for Ccleaner the Checkbox for avast antivirus remains checked
Vasta
Confirmed. Latest update today had an offer for Avast that was checked.
Upvoted on this one. The latest version of CCleaner installer contains an avast! installer. I used to have avast! but it's a resource hog.
Came home to find after updating CCleaner that Avast was installed. Unchecky apparently Un-noticed it. For those wishing to remove Avast completely, (unistall leaves lots of traces) download Avast uninstall tool from Avast directly.
Reckon its time to say adios to unchecky for a bit :>(
Thank you for the feedback. Support will be added in the next version of Unchecky.
Hello,
When using the link (bottom right) in Ccleaner, it directs to this link
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/update?a=0&v=5.39.6399&l=1036&o=10.0W6&t=4&au=1
then you have to click down on No Tanks, which is heading towards
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download?upgrade
click on download. And we get a link at FileHippo
https://filehippo.com/fr/download_ccleaner
And in this case, when installing Ccleaner, Unchecky does not work, to uncheck the box for Avast.
Maybe because I use FileHippo in general ?
The best for Ccleaner is to go through the official website of Piriform
http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download
http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/standard (the download is done automatically)
When Ccleaner is installed, Unchecky works and clears the box
About Avast and the purchase of Ccleaner. The contact is established. it shows that they will not do anything to remove the Avast check box in Ccleaner. This is not worthy of a major provider of Antivirus. Who should know that only one antivirus is used on his machine! but it's like that.
True, I Downloaded the CCleaner Installer, unzipped it using 7-zip, and found a link to install Avast, and found 'Google toolbar installer' inside the installer. I can't provide a link because I don't know if Piriform might be able to sue, but unzip the latest installer, search in explorer 'PF' and look for an exe file. Screenshot https://ibb.co/b51CKm
Support for the new CCleaner version was added in Unchecky v1.2.
Hello,
But support for Ccleaner does not work.
Considering the privacy concerns with ccleaner, I have reinstalled different versions of Ccleaner.
Well Unchecky still does not drop, the Install Chrome box
cordially
Hello,
whether Avast or Chrome of proposed, Unchecky 1.2 does not work
(With W7, W8.1 or W10)

Hello,
Is there anyone ?
who looks at what we write?
What's that thing? https://rammichael.com/tag/unchecky
because every time I try to connect, I come across this thing ... or I can not do anything ...
... every time I want to chat, I have to go through the password reset (anyway, I'm almost obliged to, because he tells me three quarters of the time that my password is not good! and I re-initialize, with the same, lol)
Good luck, Unchecky is starting to force ... since it does not work!
... and we finally start to know the programs where we have to take care of the maj itself ... without going through automation logs
In short ... just to say that for CCleaner, well it does not work!
And no answer here is OUT Unchecky ... we know how to get away without !!!
Bye

Same problem happened to me on 10/18/2018 with Unchecky 1.2 and ClLeaner 5.47 from File Hippo. Install Avast check box remains checked by default.
Same problem for me updating CCleaner to v5.51 on Chrome. 'Install Avast Antivirus' remains checked even with Unchecky 1.2 service running. Beginning to loose faith in Unchecky, especially as there are no responses to the complaints here. Is Unchecky still being actively developed?
I uninstalled Unchecky
it was only used for software that installed addwares. I have few. the worst being Ccleaner. Who adds the shit of his new owner Avast. Who is unworthy of his profession of Anti-Virus. Who should know that we do not install two Anti-Virus on a machine! Shit marketing
