Automatic update does not work for me
I am using unchecky for a very long time, thanks for this great software.
But there is some minor issue for me: i always had to update it manually.
The latest version is out for a week, but my unchecky instance is still not updated.
Is there a log file to see why it fails updating? I am behind a proxy, maybe this is a problem, but i don't know since unchecky does not complain.
Maybe a button to check manually for updates could be implemented. Any problems reaching the server or so could be directly reported via a message box then.

There's no log file. If you're using a proxy, you need to configure WinHTTP to use the same proxy, so that Unchecky will be able to use it. See the answer here for more details:

False Positive - SimCity4 Network Addon Mod
Unchecky gives a false positive on 'Network Addon Mod' installer v36.
You can download it from "http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=851"

Cheat engine installer
The current cheat engine installer located right off the site >> http://cheatengine.org/ << tries toinstall opera ... and something in the background I think (malwarebytes detected) ?
also keep up the great work with unchecky :P

[False Positive] Debugging Tools for Windows (x64)
(Microsoft) Debugging Tools for Windows (x64) -- this is part of the Windows SDK 7.1 package, available via web installer or full ISO image. Probably affects other installers in the SDK, since they were most likely built with the same authoring tools. If downloading the ISO, the full path in the image is \Setup\WinSDKDebuggingTools_amd64\dbg_amd64.msi. The internal package version is reported to be 6.12.2.633.
I did not want to install the entire SDK; I only needed the Debugging Tools package. However, due to a problem with web installer, I ended up downloading the ISO and extracting the MSI package for just the x64 Debugging Tools. If it would help, I can provide a copy of the package if you can provide a place for me to upload it.
At the beginning of the installation process, Unchecky prevents me from agreeing to the EULA for the Debugging Tools. After I closed and restarted the installation the third time, Unchecky did not throw a false positive. This may be because I renamed the file from dbg_amd64.msi to Debugging Tools for Windows x64.msi. I don't have time to test further just now.
Let me know if I can provide additional information. If you experience problems downloading and testing just the Debugging Tools package, again, let me know, and I can provide a copy of just that package.
Thanks!

The detection was removed in Unchecky v1.1, and the issues were fixed. Thanks again for the detailed report!
