Format Factory - request capture and filter of future versions
I download and try many Freeware packages.
I consider the latest Format Factory FFSetup3.8.0.0.exe to be one of the worst I have encountered so far, being seemingly intentionally deceptive and unclear on how to decline/ avoid downloading all the offered software (especially the second offer) during installation.

Newer version installed as part of ByteFence error
I decided to test Reson Core Security. Then I uninstalled it. I am not sure but somehow I cant install unchecky anymore, it says: "A newer version of Unchecky is installed as part of ByteFence. Unchecky will not be installed on this computer".
Is there a conflict or I screwed up spomething ?
This sounds like a conflict with an earlier version of ByteFence.
Please uninstall ByteFence, and if you are still seeing this message, merge the following registry file:
http://unchecky.com/files/other/clean_bytefence_entries.reg
