Unchecky shouldn't affect the internet speed. The only internet activity it does is checking for updates once every 24 hours.
Of course, you can uninstall Unchecky and see whether that helps. Then, you could reinstall it if you find out that the issue is unrelated to Unchecky.

Your update to the HOSTS file deletes any valid entries in the file. NOT ACCEPTABLE
When you update the hosts file you can't delete whats already in there. That is totally unacceptable. And do a backup first. Totally unprofessional.

Add blocking installation of Web Compagnion
A few number of softwares install in background the application "Lavasoft Web Compagnion" without asking our confirmation. I don't want it, and it changes the default url address in Firefox!

Есть предложение пора бы давно убрать из названия программы слово BETA. Просто обновляйте, а то это уже все глаза промозолило.

Uncheck usage information
I would like to suggest a feature that will scan and uncheck "send anonymous usage information" in programs. A perfect example of this in Adobe Reader DC

Sorry, but the goal of Unchecky is to prevent installation of Potentially Unwanted Programs, and anonymous usage information is not one of these.
P.S. Personally, I believe that while PUPs (completely unrelated program offers) usually do more harm than good, anonymous statistics can actually be useful for the developers, e.g. to identify and fix the most common crashes.
